Welcome to the borrow club ("TBC", "we", "us"). By using the platform you agree to these Terms. Version 1.0.0.

1. We are a platform, not a party

TBC provides a service that connects neighbors who wish to lend and borrow items. We are not a party to any borrowing arrangement. We have no role in pickup, return, storage, condition, payment, or dispute resolution.

2. Use at your own risk

All borrowing and lending arrangements are between users. You borrow and lend entirely at your own risk. TBC is not responsible for damages, loss, theft, injuries, or any consequences of using the platform.

3. No warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no warranties about other users, the accuracy of listings, or platform availability.

4. Your responsibilities

• You are responsible for your own insurance.
• You must comply with all applicable local laws.
• You are responsible for honestly describing items you list.

5. Content and account removal

TBC may remove content or suspend or remove users at its sole discretion, including for violations of our Community Guidelines.

6. Disputes between users

Disputes between users are solely between those users. TBC will not mediate disputes. We may share information with law enforcement when legally required.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TBC's total liability to you is capped at the greater of US$100 or the total amount you have paid to TBC (which in v1 is $0).

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TBC against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or your interactions with other users.
